BOONVILLE – Allan Gleasman, 70, of Charles Street, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Abraham House, Utica. He was born in Boonville on October 6, 1947, a son of Howard Sr. and Vivian Garnsey Gleasman. He grew up in Boonville and graduated from Boonville High School. For over 25 years, Allan was a dedicated school bus driver for Adirondack Central School. He was a member of the Boonville Elks Lodge and was a lifetime member of Twin Sister Hunting Club, McKeever. Allan enjoyed four-wheeling and his trucks. Surviving are his siblings, Howard Jr. and Pat Gleasman, Boonville, Sharon and Bill Howell, Ilion, and Bruce and Karen Gleasman, North Carolina; a close friend Tom Stocklosa, Boonville; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents several years ago. A special thank you to Hospice and Abraham House for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Allan and his family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be from 1-4 p.m. prior to the service.
