2017 Primary Day Voting Results-9/20/2017

Tuesday, September 12 was Primary Day and several locations throughout the local area held elections to determine whose names will be on the ballot for this November election. The unofficial results obtained from the Board of Elections are: Boonville Town Justice - Nadine McIntyre received 155 votes vs. James Galler who received 99. Both ran on the Republican Party-line. Boonville Town Council (three candidates running for two seats) - Joel Bailey received 172 votes, David Stocklosa 147 and Wayne Weiler 122. All three ran on the Republican Party-line. Constableville Mayor - Allan F. Klossner won with 24 votes against Wayne Gerhartz, who received 12 votes. Both ran on the Republican Party-line. Floyd Highway Superintendent - Jerome Alexander Jr. defeated Randy Ramsey 262-154, both running on the Republican Party-line. Village of Harrisville Trustee (two) - Richard Malbeuf received 21, Thomas Best 19, and Kelly Ritz 10 votes. All three ran on the Republican Party-line. Town of Lyonsdale Council (two) - William Marmon received 77 votes, Keith Todd 69, and Nancy O’Brien Dailey 61. All candidates ran on the Republican Party-line. Town of Lyonsdale Supervisor - Philip Boardman won with 71 votes against David Butts, who received 48 votes. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line. Town of Osceola Clerk - Mallory Sullivan Douglas defeated Ginny Churchill 24-16, with both candidates running on the Republican Party-line. Town of Russia Justice (two) - Louis Gauthier Sr. received 98 votes, John Bates 72, and Gary Phillips 64. All three ran on the Republican Party-line. Town of Trenton Clerk- Stanley Harris received 162 votes against Terralyn Gouger, who received 123. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line. Town of West Turin Highway Superintendent - Robert Greene won with 79 votes against Douglas Salmon, who received 60 votes. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line and also claimed one vote each on the Conservative Party-line. Oneida County Legislative Districts - 
Oneida County District 12 (Rome/Floyd) - Michael Brown won the position against Barbara Cal-andra, with 104 votes. Calandra received 51 votes. Both candidates ran on the Democrat Party-line.
